How We Count Windows

Are you confused on how windows are counted for window cleaning? Mr Windows Cleaning Service has simplified it for you below!

One Window

– Single / Double Hung Window
– Plate Window
– Transom Window
* The above windows include those with Removable Grids (grids on outside of glass which can be removed and replaced after cleaning) as well as Suspended AKA False Grids (grids between panes of glass)

Two Windows

– 2 Single / Double Hung Windows
– Sliding Glass Doors
– Single Window w/ Transom Window
* The above windows include those with or without a fixed / non-removable grid (windows with non-removable obstructions that make the window look and feel like it has individual pieces of glass)

Three Windows

– Storm Windows
– 3 Double Hung Windows
– Bay & Picture Window
* Depends on the length & height of window
* Some windows have storms on the front & back or inside only. Each storm is counted separate.

Specialty Windows

– Garden Windows
– High Interior Windows
– Skylights (Note: We do not clean plastic skylights )
​* Skylights prices will depend of how high and how big they are.
* Windows where ladders need to be used indoors count as specialty windows.
